Toy. You want a MINIMUM of a 5-pound extinguisher on board, a 10-pounder if you have the room.

Keep in mind that a typical 5-pound dry-chemical extinguisher is rated to put out 1 whole pound of Class-A material (burning wood, paper, etc.) and 5 square feet of Class-B (think spilled fuel). That ain't much folks! Double those figures for a 10-pound unit and that still isn't much to work with.

After the extinguisher is spent, you're back to emptying the cooler on it, which isn't going to do anything except spread a fuel or oil fire!
