Yes she did. She was loud, the cam in it wasn't really ground for the street it was ground for 300 feet LOL

It had a reverse valve body , trans brake, and 5500 stall converter, It had 396 hp , 500 hp NOS carb plate, 250 hp on a button on the carb and a button on the steering wheel with 250 if i needed it, depending on the class, (stock, XA, XXA (with both stages.

Had a chain drive sytle four wheel drive set up , hooked up to an electric PTO clutch, we took off in 4 wheel drive , then after it shifted into second I could turn it off, and finish in 2 wheel drive, you could feel the motor gain the horse power back lol.

Had a spool in the rear with 4:88 gear, front was Detroit locker also 4:88

It would run with both stages, in 300 foot, it ran 4.25 to 4.5, with a single stage it ran 4.7 to 4.9 and with out the bottle it ran 5.2to 5.5

On the street in four wheel drive , she would hop off the ground if i used the trans brake hehe

How did you fit a V-8 and auto trans in such a short chassis?

Rear drive shaft was about 5 inches LOL

It was like 2 U joints with an incy wincy shaft , and that is it, hehe,

as short as the drive shaft was, it was real strong

And no transfer case made some room . It was tight still tho ,

And Some where in my uncles shop, there is a 400 turbo housing, that came out of the donor wagoner, thats where the 401/400 turbo came from

when I blew the 401, I put the 350 in it, I took the guts out of the wagoner 400 turbo, and put them in the new one , the bell housing bolt hole that held the starter cracked when the motor blew

But before I put the chain drive in it, I still used the dana 20 , no shiftier (so there was no placement of the transfer case shiftier to worry about) , just left it in 4 wheel high and locked and unlocked the hubs

I never ran it in 4 wheel low or 2 wheel drive if I did need to, I would just crawl under and knock into 2 wheel drive or 4 low.

I use both front and rear dana 44 front international scout 2. Oem cj5 1975 are 53” widnt and those a 58 inch and you keep the same bolt patern. What you see in my sig picture is was with the oem axle with leaf spring on the jeep. The flare i’m using now are 6 inch wide the tire are entirely cover by them. Here’s the link for the custom coil spring suspension i made.

Thanks! It's a 69 and the wipers are down low. They aren't working at the moment because I'm in the prosses of restoring the dash so they are stuck.lol

I like having the bikini ataches to the roll bar because that way I can just flip the windshield down when ever I want. The
bikini ataches with the two little snap buttons on the sides and two holes in the middle towards the windshield to tie it down.
