Didn't do much today. Had to put a tow hitch on the T4R and wire it up
    So now it looks nice.
But for the heep, I painted the bumper quick, but first put a bracket on it for a blinder. I jsut did 1 Daylighter, I'll do probably a flood light somewhere on the other side or on the driver side, front and rear.

sammy i finally got my lift on the jeep at 1 am sunday july 6. now it looks your shackles are stock dimensions but i was wondering if you had any issues with driveshaft angles? did you need a t-case drop or anything? my lift is 2.5" with 1/2" lift shackles. i dont have the drivetrain in yet but it looks like i might(?) need a slight drop in the transfercase cross member.

Gwillys, My lift is 1" with 1" lift shackles rear and 1/2" front. I haven't hooked up the driveshafts yet. Donnie, aka godevil , has your same lift, maybe he'll see here or you can shoot him a PM? You might need shims on the rear, but doubtful. I wanna see how yours came out!

    Nothin here really...
Got the floors back in for the most part, ground down, welded tight. Got the dash fixed since it was cut. Bodys on again to try to line up the floor supports, I'll be welding some extra tabs onto the passenger side for 2 of them, since they're off by a little bit (not my doing, it's MD Juans) What else... hmmm... OD is jammed in still I need to call herm but I don't have a chance for a while. I'm scared $hitless that it wont run/will leak bad/ will break/fall apart even though I've checked everything and put everything together exactly how it was and torqued it all.
I had nothing else to do so I made a trick gas cap out of my old one. It originally had 4/16 bondo on it, what? So I wire wheeled it back in like April.
So, with out further adieu, my new cap

I have to pick up the paint tomorrow, some more flap wheels, some more bondo boards, and some DA disks. Maybe Friday I'll prime it.

Jim, that's awesome! :) I'm taking my time, but it's at that point now I see the light and taste the...gear oil? R)
I think I've learned a ton on the project, it's just trying to figure out the tedious stuff you know?

Also I actually had a dream I went to cali for a trail run with the finished flattie, and offered to put it in low range and let your son drive it (since I remember you mentioned him wanting one), but by the time I make it out there you're son will probably have one bi$&%*n flattie!

Hat channels are done, just need to grind them, and buy the body hardware. I'm going carriage bolts through it all instead of captured nuts.
Did a ton of bondo, and most of it ended up as dust and scraped off since I can't figure the right amount of hardener.
Been looking at bed liner products. Can't decide between Herculiner, Raptor Liner, and this Southern Urethane's company (was recommended the last by a bronco'er on PBB)
Just dented the budget too, bought all the paint on Wednesday :) Its that buckskin that you guys saw, but a little lighter.
Ordered 125' of 5/16 AmSteel synthetic winch rope (yeah it's $180, only 30 more or so than cable, plus, it will weigh "1/7 the weight" so I figure that will save steering wear with manual steering)
And now I'm going to order more parts from Walcks, mostly air filter stuff, body mounts, spare carrier, body pads, switches.
