Sometimes its about learning too. A lot of stuff I do is an exercise in learning something. If you went to school for it, it would cost hundreds or thousands of dollars and you still might have no practical application of your knowledge.

I rebuilt my first Fhead. it would have been nice to just go directly to the 4.3 or the LS or I don't even know what I now really want.. But hey, I learned a whole lot along the way that is priceless..Priceless because what I learned has other applications too..

I got these Parking brake calipers and they come with no instructions aside for the brake fluid they use... Ummmmm they are mechanical.. The website has no information on them about how to adjust them. The one arm compresses all the way and moves the brake pad about 1/16..

Wildwood sent this out with no support. Their website has no support other than the bolt hole locations. Great.

Chris, I would call them. Their website says the kits are supposed to have the literature you need.

Killer! The instructions on Wilwood are a dead link.

I called wildwood because I want an exploded view of the caliper and they wont give it to me directly. I have to email someone and they might give it out. So, they sell a brake part but wont allow you to take a look at how it goes together or comes apart? That seems strange to me.

Chris, I hope this helps answer your questions. This is the only drawing on the Wilwood website that I could find of the caliper itself and it is primarily mounting data.
Wilwood Disc Brakes - MC4 Mechanical Calipers

I believe your original question was for adjusting the parking brake. Look at the top page 5 of this document. It describes the adjustment procedure.

Yup, I called wilwood for a diagram or print
Or any information about the internal mechanism of how this caliper works and the representative stated that he did not have access to that nor do they generally give it out. Specifically I wanted instructions on the adjusting rod and jam nut on the back side of this caliper. He had no information on that. I can and will figure it out, but it is odd that a 200 buck brake caliper does not come with any documentation from the manufacturer , nor will they readily give it out.

Chris, I too have run across or up against this same thing........It's pretty unprofessional & frustrating, in my opinion. Particularly for 'reverse engineering' type R & R guy's like myself . What say you, Sir ?
Lately , I've read somewhere about some Mfger's ( sic ) using different variation's of the " Right to Repair " program in their Business Model. They Oughten not mess with that type of Horse Sheeazit , particularly towards their Pay'n customer's
Tend's to Piss me off. :censored:
I found that it takes a lot more time, research, & plain 'ol digg'n deeper , to " Sometimes " get what should have been provided in the first place .
Hang in there...... I know a bloke like you can do it . Let's not let these Mfger's ( sic ) make us sweat :flag:

Eh, I’ll figure it out. All I do is fix junk for a living, so I have some experience. I’m just used to being able to get a baseline of what to expect with a diagram or schematic of some sort. When it comes to brake parts, there is almost always some sort of exploded view. A lot of the junk I work on also requires metallurgical certifications or other standards that the manufacturer will provide as a matter of course. A materials provider such as Mc master carr has no problem providing something like that, so it seems odd that an aftermarket performance parts manufacturer would make it so difficult to research a brake product even after it has been sold. I can understand the idea of intellectual property and protecting your product, but this is a mechanical caliper. Come on.
