This has been sitting for many years, and the left side was next to a garage that burned down. The wheel bearings lost all the grease, and had rusted/ seized. Has/ had many coats of paint, at least what didn't burn off. I'm going to clean it up a bit and paint it..

Came with this top as well. I kinda like it; might come in handy..

Hubs cleaned and painted, and new bearings and seals.

Found some used tires to put on it for now, on a set of Kelsey Hayes 15X8's.

Started stripping paint and rust last night, as well as remove the old tail lights and grinding off a couple added brackets. This trailer, despite it's looks, is very solid and very straight.

Under a couple layers of paint, you can see where it had "Ben Hur" on the tailgate, and something else below that...

I'm having a set of 2 1/2" lift blocks made for it, and U-bolts are ordered. Need to build a bracket for the tongue jack...More to come..

Nifty little trailer you got there. The top should come in some good use while camping somewhere...you can just pull it off, throw your fishin gear in and hit the lake haha. What color you going to paint it?

Is the bolt pattern the same as the Jeep?

That top is steel. A bit heavy, but two guys can handle it. I've already thought about being able to sleep under it..

That gave her a nice little stance. How in-line is it with your jeep now?

How in line? Not sure what you mean..
I lifted it 2 1/2", and I'm now using a hitch with 2 1/2" less drop than before...

Sorry to be vage but i was meaning if the jeep and trailer now share the same ride height. So if your towing it with a flat hitch (no drop) that they both sit level with each other.

The tailgate is still basically un-touched.
I need to build a spare tire mount too...
Quite honestly, I have a whole lot of hours into this, and right at $500, including purchase price and permanent registration....
