Looks good, how much lift are you expecting from the waggy springs?

Last photo shows the lift up front. Rear is stock springs with a humungoid add-a-leaf. Guesstimate it's probably 2.5-inches, but I did use very short spring hangers up front and submerged the shackle pivots into the framerail, not on the bottom.

Thanks, I am looking for about 3" of lift, and a wider than stock spring for my 68, might have to look at the waggies a little more.

Here's the new stance. Cut the fenders, added some Spidertrax wheel spacers, got the 304 purring nicely, had the TH400 rebuilt with B&M components, rebuild the Dana 20 myself, and hung some Rancho 44044 Waggy springs up front with a homemade shackle reversal. Front axle is moved forward about 2 inches.

Next up is build the cage, mount the seats, install the new B&M shifter (column shifter is kinda vague), and mop up a couple more odds and ends before putting it on the road. Gonna do some P-40 Flying Tiger nose art as well for the heck of it.

I'll drive it for a while like this then I'll put in some different axles. Originally thought 1-tons, but I may just do a Ford 9-inch out back and a Waggy front D44. Wheels and tires will be my Walker beadlocks w/ red powdercoating off Muderous Overkill and maybe some 38x13.50-17s of some sort with a bit more fender trimming.

Took it on a couple drives just locally. No off-roading yet. It falls on its face in the upper rpms but that's 'cause I've got the floats lowered so much for off-roading it's actually starving for fuel! R)

It runs great except that the column shifter was just too vague going into Reverse, so I tossed this in there yesterday.

Derby is done. Sorry for the big photos. Comman D'oh did great! Now that the Sh!%box Derby is out of the way I can move on to Stage II of the buildup starting with the cage and putting my old Mastercraft seats from my Ramcharger in it.
