    im at the same point you are. collecting/building pieces. i think i am going to try and fab most stuff in cardboard first then make the parts from metal.

    np. i can wait. iim thinkin that if i use the scout pitman which long and tall i can mount the gear box a little higher to keep it out of the way of rocks and still retain good rod geometry. esp if i brace the box well.
