Wish I had enough time on my hands to be bored. Ha Ha You should be able to whip that right out. Flat piece of steel with a couple of holes drilled in it. Piece of cake.

Installed the skid for the fuel switch solenoid.

Started making a shroud for the radiator today. There is a sheetmetal shop next door to my warehouse and they let me use their equipment over the weekend. Should finish it tomorrow. No pics today's progress. Pretty convenient having a brake, shear and roller to work with. I'm using 16g steel for the shroud.

I wouldn't want to rob you of the personal satisfaction of making it yourself! ;)

    waynaferd Hey, ya'll watch this!!

I probably missed it, but what did you use for a frame for that rear panel? Just square tubing? And also, what brand corner guards are those, or did you make them?

    Thank you!!

I think I used 3/4" x 2" x 1/8" rectangle tubing for the frame. I'll check when I go back up to the warehouse today. The corners are from Warrior Products. I had to call them to order the corners without the holes cut out already.

OK, That's what I was looking for, some w/o the cut outs. Thanks!

Except for paint, I'm done with the fan shroud. I'll get it painted tomorrow and installed. Then I still have to install the tranny/t-case skidplate and the anti-wrap bar, bleed the brakes before I can take it to get the exhaust system installed on Wed. It snowed here all day...........must be almost Summer! Ha Ha

I couldn't have pulled it off without access to their equipment.

Snow, kind of reminds me of the time a friend and I left Redding CA for a back pack trip into the Seirra's from the Nevada side. Left truck ( 100+ degrees), woke up Sunday moring with 2 inches of snow. Good thing for having a space blanket and a good fire!!!

I hear that! I've seen snow in June, July and August since I've lived here, not to mention the rest of the months in the year.

    Aaaaaawwwwwwwooooooooogggggggaaaaaaaa!

I've never had a shroud on my Jeep before, but since I moved the radiator so far forward with the '73 fenders and hood I felt like I should have one. I also have a manually operated electric fan on the front of the radiator.
