What "renegade" decal goes on??

    Awesome, thanks! That puts me right in range anyway. If I ever get a reproduction sticker I can go with June (my birthday too!) and be reasonably comfortable that it's not a complete lie.

    Tim, the original engine is long gone. I know my current engine was built in September of 79 (making it a 1980 model year) and the spare engine in my garage was built in September 77 (78 model year). My Jeep's running gear is all from a low-mileage 1980 CJ-5 that burned in a fire, 258 engine, T-176 4-speed and Dana 300.

    I've yet to order my reproduction sticker. I've heard good things about Bear Creek Survey, I guess I'll use them for the build sticker and the shift pattern sticker.

    If you ever find a source for the '74 Type 1 Renegade sticker be sure to post about it. Maybe we can convince Golden Eagle to make them if we have enough interest.
