I left them in my m38. I only fixed the rust, everything else on the body was left as is.

 

No rust in mine either.

 

Keep the dents. Scars are cool (and proof of use).

 

I left many imperfections on my 5, pfft chicks dig scars.

 

that's what I tell my wife. Unfortunately, so far all my jeep has attracted is middle aged old men.

So far... Been driving it around the neighborhood, tonight with the daylighter on it was very bright!
Still leaking like none other.
Cage should come along quick, then paint.
Got a skid plate for the steering box made, as well as the winch
Figured out the timing issue if I haven't said that
Jumped it on accident (resulting in air born)
Xfer case is growling bad
What else...

Oh OD and the floors are rubbing bad, can't even shift the OD, so it's time to lift the body too.

 

Sammy what are you going to use for lifting the body?

 

Picked up some stock body pucks (urethane) from my local 4x4 shop for like 25 bucks.
Hold on I got a pic of stock vs. new somewhere....




And a preview... I have yet to see it in person

 

Are you going to use both or just the new pucks? That cage looks pretty cool!!

 

Just the new pucks. Lol, some of the local guys were messing around with bad body lifts, one guy was talking about his idea for allthrea and jamb nuts for an adjustable lift R)

Could be like this guy, 2 frames HAS to be better than 1....!



And thanks, the cage looks good but I'm not sure about the rear supports. It's a 6 pt cage but has large hoops.
I can't wait to see it tomorrow though!
