    Yep! Never doing it again!
I tried again on the line and tonight this one actually fit... I didn't have to flare it. So... We'll see if it leaks tomorrow. Time to bleed them again, yeehaw!

You mean you had 2 u joints fail (F & R), or did you drive w/ no brakes w/o having the front axle engaged?
Even if 1 UJ, it actually failed, ie, blew apart at [assumed] slow speed?

    What HW did you loose?

Where was the "oil" leaking from?

Just 1. No front axle. I was using the ebrake to stop.

Just random bolts and nuts that I left on the frame rails after removing them, old stuff. It wasn't important. I got it all back. Oh a wrench fell off too. HEY I was looking for that! R)

It was 'oil' and from the trans case and front gasket, haven't fixed that. My exhaust man said he'll look at it.

I tweaked one of my fail lines and it actually looks like how it was before... Perfect! And it doesn't seem to be leaking.

Just my dad the doctor thinks my middle fingers tip is broken. But, when yer young and dumb you tend to have this stuff happen to you

make sure you put some reinforcement in the tailgate to hold the weight or it will get warped. Also if you are going to carry a gas can back on the tailgate you might want to bolt the tailgate shut, less rattles.

I've already got some 3/16" strip I'll weld a frame from and then weld to the tail gate, and re skin it, so it'll be 2 tailgates in 1. The holes were in it already from a gas can long ago. Then on the jack I'll put a 3/16 plate behind in the wheel house and then enforce it. NO bending, I hate dents :(

Dont skin it, I know you live and a dry enviroment but lost of junk can get between the two. Just use strips of angle Iron like on the m38 tailgate.

That tail gate looks like it''s in great shape, why not just make a heavy duty one for the gas tank then you can flip the original on when you don't need the tank?

Bill, I totally forgot about it. Part of me says yes because the snorkle would be cool. Part says no because shipping is brutal and every man needs wall art...
