I ordered one of the Omix-Ada a couple of years ago and was very
disappointed in the quality of the piece. I didn't use it. I ordered one
on the rebuild kits from Krage and the quality was far superior. But
I had still had to have it resized. The ears on both were inline but
180* off of each other. On the old piece I had they ears were some
odd angle. The new piece still worked the way it was after shorting it.

This thread has been helpful to me - probably explains why one of the ears on mine was moved and rewelded.

The hat channel that the ball stud mounts to on the frame broke on mine once - had to drive home without using the clutch. I ended up using some 1/4" spacers to mount the new (shorter) hat channel and that makes it much easier to get the whole thing out - the ball stud on the frame side comes out easy after removing the spacers under the hat channel. If you have to cut down one of the shafts consider making it a bit short and using the spacers.

Another problem has been a stiff clutch pedel caused by lack of grease. I went ahead and installed a grease zerk in the shaft - it makes a mess but really does help.

mine has a zerk on it (as far as I can tell, it's oem). when I went frm the t86 to the t14, i ended up cutting down the cross shaft by 1" to make it fit.
