    Well I cheated, got a 71 cj-5 rolling chassis for $150 and a nt 30 I had R)

Has 225, t-14, dana 18, flanged rear 44, 27, radiator and a rear tank (don't know if I will use this)

Also order a cheap 2" lift with shocks yesterday :)

Need to order a new input bearing retainer for the Sm465 and get the bell housing machined.

Already pulled off the old frame and sitting on the cj-5 chassis:

The pedals are cj-7. Just afraid of smashing it on something and like the extra clearance without it. The frame is in the classified section :)

Any progress this weekend? I've been keeping an eye on your build. Your lightning pace has been inspiring me to work on mine (as well as a million other projects but hey at this point who's counting, oh ya the wife is). Keep us posted and keep up the good work.

    Anders

BTW not to post jack but here is a pic of the motor in your sig in it's new home.

    Looks good :)

I got the rear springs removed, drilled new holes in the rear axle perches to move the axle back 1" (help center it in the wheel wells) and bolted on my stupid thick spacers R)

Got the bell housing back from machining and order a new input bearing retainer and a gasket kit so I can put my 18 back together. Hope to have it done in a week or so

Got the rear springs and shocks installed. So the rear axle is all bolted back in. Hoping the input retainer shows up tomorrow so I can install the trans and put the t case back together.
