    interesting, and nice photo. I have a '67 in that color. So, late '65? (Has '65 hood and V6). Or early '66, (using up '65 hoods)?

    For what its worth, my ‘66 w/V6 has the early style hood with the snorkel plate. This style hood was discontinued sometime in the ‘66 production year.
    The photo also shows the ‘66 style mounting bar for passenger seat.
    The V6 was supposedly introduced in the Tuxedo Park models first, then became available in regular CJ5’s, all for the ‘66 model year.
