Got the brake pedal/booster assy finished today, also made the rad mount and bolted up the radiator. Got the fenders and grill on and lined up. A little modding to the gas pedal assy and it'll be ready to mount.
Need to finish brake/gas lines then start on wiring....oh and some paint touch up

finished up the pedal assemblies tonight. I had to cut down and reweld the brake arm to line up L to R and up and down. I hooked up the linkage to the carb, still trying to figure out how to make a hand throttle linkage work w/ what I've got.
    Next up...finishing brake/gas lines

Jim, Are you planning on putting the same cage back in or you have other plans? So the way I figure it you"ve done a complete rebuild resto mod in about 3 month's? My project is looking pretty weak compared to your progress and speed.

Do me a favor, next time we wheel together don't tell my wife that is the same Orange Jeep from the ECJ5 Bull run. She'll never let me live my long project down even if I don manage to get mine on the road before you!

Got the battery box built and mounted on the firewall. Scavanged the starter solenoid and ballast resistor from the donor M38 and mounted them. Layed out the harness, seperated the wiring then got it all ready for install. Mounted the fuse box and horn relay, then pulled rear wire through firewall and routed to the back. Pulled front wiring for engine and lighting to engine compartment.
Now that I'm actually into the process things are making sense...think I've got my head wrapped around it:) Good day in the garage

In order to finish the rear wiring I needed to mount my corner guards and lights. I was going to use flush mount lights, but now I think I'm gonna mount up the originals.
A little "bling" is alright on a jeep..................isn't it?:)

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Put down the bling and step away slowly form that gorgeous color!

Find some old school tail lights and stick them on the back of that ride. 59 caddy bullets would be cool! R)
