I wish it was ready for the Bull....:)
I got rained out on Saturday, no way to paint the tub etc., but body prep is done.
I started getting brake/gas lines plumbed, painting and installing motor accessorys, installed shocks/boots, been toying w/ the AA chain clutch linkage...need to get the tub back on for that, got a tough decision to make on which dash/gauges to use...been playing w/ both to see which looks/feels better.
Spent lots of $$$ the past few weeks....parts in the garage....hei dist.,edelbrock carb, ezwire harness/ lots of paper planning w/ this, wheels spacers for the rear axle, primer/paint, new body mounts, alum corner guards, duel tank switch, coming...wheel flares
Seems like a never ending project, but it's coming along...I'll post pics when I've got something worthy:)

Got most of the engine accessories bolted back up. I'm waiting for a new fan blade for the fan clutch. I put the distributor w/ the petronix and coil back in, the HEI I recieved is just to big. Still messing w/ the AA chain clutch and linkage. Hoping to be able to paint the tub this weekend. Getting closer :)

Got the AA chain clutch linkage finished up tonite (thanks Vanguard). Lost the little key for the slot between the clutch arm and pivot, made a new one by cutting down a large washer then grinding to fit. The clutch is stiff!!!, hope I dont regret changing it out later.
I forgot to tighten the bell housing:oops:, when I pushed on the arm the first time it started to seperate from the block:shock:
Hopefully gonna paint the tub tomorrow:) weather permiting

    Looking good Jim.

I wish I could make more time to get mine finished. I guess my only option is to start working in my shop late at night and getting less sleep.

Nice job. I like the color also.

Looks great for your first paint job.

I was a big Chicken when it came to painting. I have mine in the paint shop and am paying to get it done. I have a shop, though not anywhere close to being clean enough to paint in.

We set the tub back on the frame this afternoon. First time we've had use of the driveway since mid AugustR).
These two pics give a better idea of the color, kinda a copper brown (2000 chrysler color "amber fire")
I've got to notch the floor of the tub a couple inches, other than that so far so good.

last couple nights projects....had to cut out a liitle of the tub to clear new trans/tc, you can see by the pic that the OD lever is forward of the other sticks....had to re-weld the linkage rod, then bend it to clear the tub. I also had to remove the rear crossmember piece I had installed (not enough to bolt to) then weld some 1 1/2" channel in its place.
Almost finished bolting the tub w/ the new pucks, should finish tonight

Been working on the trans/tc cover for the tub. Hole for the trans stick was off about 4 inches, OD in differant location etc. I wanted to keep it looking as close to original as possible so lots of relief cuts/ small plate add ons/ welding and grinding.
    1st pic....tacked up
    2nd pic....welded and ground down
3rd....some bondo and lots of sanding then primer
Still have some sanding to do but think its gonna turn out alright. Man every job I think will take an hour ends up taking hours, and then some:(

got to paint today (got rained out yesterday)
the center cover for the trans/tc came out great!, still need to paint top side of hood and the dash. Spent most of yesterday doing body prep on the dash:(, hopefully it'll be worth it.
Starting to get the hang of body/paint work:)...guess I'll need to start another project when the 6 is finished.
