I noticed that i had a radiator mount ripped off so i have to redo my radiator mounts. Currently i used the flat aluminum of the radiator and bolted it to braket, but that was too weak. I am wanting to mount the radiator like they do to moden cars with clamps and such. I would like to see how you guys have your atermarket radiators monuted?

Here's the Fiero radiator (got the idea from this site) I used in my '71. The mount is pretty butch by my standards, but it sort of goes with the theme of the Jeep. I threw it together in about 30 minutes just to get the rig going and figured I'd build a cleaner one later, but you know how that goes.

The bottom sits on some 1x3 rectangular tubing that indexes the channel in the bottom of the radiator. The 1x3 is held off the crossmember with some 2-inch long pieces of 1-inch round tubing. There's an old mountain bike inner tube between the bottom of the radiator and the lower mount.

The upper mount is the original Fiero piece that I cut and welded to fit the 1-inch square supports. It cinches down and holds the radiator in place independent of the grille so I can drive it with no fenders or grille if need be.

The 18 gauge sheet metal plate that holds the fans, holds the top of the radiator. The fan shroud (I like to call it.) is "L" shaped. You can see the top of the shroud and the rubber mount in this picture.

Here is a picture of the fans on the fan shroud.

There is three bolts that hold the shroud to the top of the framework and three on the bottom tray. The bottom mounts are in this picture.
