Original springs in the rear - figure getting Dutch's kit on will take care of most of it. Dutch didn't lean once the suspension was replaced.

Nah - not doing springs just yet.

OK - rear complete cept for the U-bolts. Taking a break, getting some water, and I'll start the front.

The only, and I mean the ONLY reason I drove all the way to holland was to get a ride in SS dutch. And I end up hauling axles around the garage!!!! R)R)R)

Just kidding, of course. Obviously I knew she was busted before I left. Good times were still had by all! :D

What, no shot of the front springs hanging? :D

Mike ain't spilling the beans. We managed to get the old axle out by just sliding it sideways out between the springs and the frame. The new axle with the 11" drums was considerably larger, and wouldn't fit. The reason for the funky jackstand setup is so we could unbolt the shackles, drop the front of the springs and bring the axle in through the front! :)

Pssst - ask Mike how easily an axle is to get out with the driveshaft still attached - on both ends.... ;)

Heheh. Was fun, though. Didn't get anything done on mine today, so at least I was helpful over at Mikes.

Seriously, though, next time I'm headed over don't break it! I need a ride before I go back to school! R)
