Rear is a Dana 30 with 4:11 gears if I figure correctly.

The SROD already mentioned is the best bet. It's a 4 speed transmission with first gear around 3-1 (about the same as the T-90) where 4th gear is something like a .72 overdrive. R&P makes an adapter and output shaft for this conversion and has done a bunch of them. The neet thing is the whole package with adapter is about the same length as as the T-86 so no drive shaft mods are necessary. The down side is the tranny ain't cheap. R&P modifies the cases to bolt directly to a GM bellhousing with no modifications or adapters. They can be reached at 503-557-8911 and are located in Oregon City, OR so are north of you. Nickmil.

Thank You for the support. I am glad I found this place as it has been a source of good information and technical know how. Thank you all.

Status: Currently having the rear axel converted to spring over. Have located a set of Sanderson shorty headers for 225/231 buick 90' V6. which I plan to install after the engine is gone through by one of my patients who happens to be a kick *** mechanic. I may just have it rebuilt as I do not know how many miles are on the engine.

Current plans for color 'Corvette' yellow or GM yellow. Including the hard top. Rhino Lining throughout the interior ' charcoal grey' Roll bar, black, rechrome the dash panel, replacement seats. Wheels are 25 year old Mags, from a 79 Bronco. Way wicked looking rims.

    Thank you all.
