The flange looks to be the same. This is meant to go onto an inline 6 Ford motor. Just wondering if it has been done yet?

I wonder after having it for a year and (hopefully) driving it alot, I wonder how he likes it?

I ended up putting a Webber carb on my F head, making an aluminum adapter for it. I like it alot better than the original carb

Nick sells an adapter for the sniper.

if I was going to keep my f head, I’d buy a sniper

I've seen several videos of him wheeling it pretty good. Runs like cat excrement on glass.

Were I to decide to try EFI that kit would probably be the way I would go as it looks well designed and fairly simple to set up.

However, I understand carburetors a lot better than I do electronics, and I am also just a little too frugal to spend that much money.

I do have a Weber progressive two barrel kit I am going to try on one of my L-134 engines, and may also try it on the F-134 in my CJ5 just for comparison. The adaptor will fit either engine. The F-134 in my CJ5 already runs great with the Carter YF on it now, and has all the power I need for how I use the Jeep.

Not sure if the newer style Sniper kits are moving some of the control electronics to a separate unit or not, although I believe they are doing that to help mitigate heat soak killing off the entire assembly. I say this because a few of my 'Ford Six' friends have had a lot of poor luck with the throttle body getting hot and then cooking the integrated controls.

That being said, I would be tempted to ask Holley if they plan on updating the single barrel units. (and buying an updated one) If not, I would strongly recommend taking measures to block heat from the throttle body to protect it. Its not the same as a carburetor with heat soak, once something in the PCB gets cooked you are dead in the water until the whole unit is replaced. I think this could be achieved with the old style heat blocker under the throttle body like what was more commonly seen back in the day as well as a phenolic spacer.

Going onto an F head though. Zero issues of heating compared to an L head.

I'll place my bet that 7lbs of boost is the limit and it'll throw a rod before the slip prints.

I saw a video a few years back where a guy installed a small turbo on his F134 and it did well in the video.

The only one I'm aware of surviving more than a few days was turbo normalized out in the western mountains with a small Saab turbo.
Fella had a channel about his 2.5ton truck and logging and the cj5 would be his daily driver.

    I would not recommend...
Maybe @Mturbo38a1 can or L.I.G. can add something here. But those guys and myself only added smoke screens.

I'm a little perplexed by the blowers on the L head.. I would think that's waaaay more volume than needed and the parasitic drag of two of them? Just seems counter productive..

That's a belt driven supercharger and superhurricane I6
    150hp... way more money than a 175hp 260ftlb 4.3 swap.

Turbos are a different sort of animal to tame.
