Power Steering Options For My 67 Cj

I'm old, I'd like to install power steering in my old jeep, I've read a bit about the Saginaw power steering conversion.

My kid is a scrapper, he hauls more junk vehicles than you can imagine.

That got me thinkin, "does he occasionally get a car that would have the ultimate power steering system for my jeep".

If you had a choice, would there be a power steering system out of any type of vehicle that would work great in my CJ?

The box I always look for is from a '60's/70's Wagoneer. 4-1/4 turns and 4 hole mounting.

 

well there is no bolt on kit that I am aware of . we do have a informative section . to get you going in the right direction

I found a salvage yard donor from a 1970 chev monte carlo . 4 hole variable ratio works great. mike

 

Which engine do you have? That makes a difference in both mounting the pump and routing the steering shafts.

 

Late AMC era CJ's have factory power steering. I really like my feedback.
