Ive recently added the Waldron exhaust, because I’d like to be able to creat room for a hydraulic clutch setup. Of course the problem with this is the steering shaft/exhaust conflict.

I’d be interested in your thoughts on how I’m thinking of solving this.

I’ve just got it set up with dowels at the moment, but would welcome any thoughts or concerns about this setup before I go further.

I'm basically going down from the steering column through a shaft support and into a double u joint under the motor mount Frame. I’m thinking of mounting a plate here to secure the two shaft supports I’ll need because of a double u joint I’m trying.

from the double u joint a second shaft will run up to the Saginaw Box.

It seems to turn freely (a little Creaky because of the dowels). Interested in opinions before I go further. If this won’t work, I’ll have to go back to my rear dump manifold and old exhaust. I get about a half inch clearance between exhaust and steering shaft with this set up.

Thanks for the support! View attachment 74049 View attachment 74052 View attachment 74054
