Thanks for the input about the seats; My Driver seat back is leaned all the way in the back. I was thinking of some low backs.
Anyone seen a JD Yellow Jeep? :) Got the hood and a fender painted and they look pretty good.
Still gotta order some parts and the engine stuff is on the way.

The fenders have been painted, the hood was painted today, cowl was painted, hood hardware was painted and the only thing left to paint is the grill and tub. Gas tank skid plate is rusted out and I will replace it when I recover some of my money. Thinking a diamond plate one or something strong. The shocks and steering shaft will be replaced when I get the money. Thinking of an OBA setup some time in the future; York 210 would be the best for this. As soon as I get a new Jack I'll replace and repair all my brakes. Thinking of putting in a tach, radio, speakers, and new seats. The list never ends....

Today I pulled the windshield and removed the glass without breaking anything.:) I pressure washed it and just need to do some sanding and then primer and paint. Any recommended sealer for the glass? Got some small rust holes to weld up on the cowl where the water was trapped but other than that it is gold. Need to prep the tub for paint soon because the cold weather will be here soon. Tractor paint looks good and it is significantly cheaper than other auto paints. I am using hardener to speed up the drying process because when we did the old Fergie, the paint was tacky as heck. That's about all so far

Got the firewall painted last night and my dad said he'll paint the rest of it sometime this week. The engine parts should be here Thursday or Friday and I hope to have it moving after everything is cleaned out and replaced.

I pulled up the glass seal and tucked an extension cord into it and pushed it down and it popped out. Gotta be careful though. I am patching screw holes right now as well.
I think the JD yellow will look cool on the Jeep. Was jacking up the rear to look at the rear brakes and some red basserd wasps came out from the fender well and I had to
R-U-N-N-O-F-T. More of a jog but still. Thought I heard buzzing noises when I was sanding it last night.... Need to get the pump sprayer and soap and water.

Today I tore into the drum brakes and had a 9 Hour blast. I need to get some new drums but for now I no longer need a brick as the Parking Brake. The driver side was a breeze but the passenger side was a good 8 hour pain. I got the left fender mounted and some other odds and ends done.

My dad and I painted the rest of the Jeep and I started to work on the inside of it to prep for bed liner. Any good brands of liner? In the engine neck of the woods I have everything but the #8 piston installed. Found the old gas cap crushed under the bench seat in the back. Sorta close to being road ready:)

Engine mostly put back together and I found an awesome machine shop down the road from the house with a TON of old cars and some T buckets. I also saw an old German looking car.
    Looked like this one

Got the rods torqued down and started unbolting the roll bar and the brand new torx 45 I bought broke so now I gotta run back to the parts store and get a refund. I was going to rent a torque bar and it was going to be 100 bucks so I went digging around the tool section in the store and found one for 30 bucks. Mondays are garbagemehh

Went to the AutoZone in Jackson and the no good $%&&$^$^$^&%^$ didn't have the valve stem seals that I had been told would come in TODAY!!!!! PITA PITA PITA!!! I waited 8 days for these $$%$&#@ things and they can't find them??? I got a refund on that and the broken torx. Rant over, I pulled the roll cage and have a real nasty rust through on the right side fender well and floor where it was. So thin I poked my finger through the fender well and floor. Engine is 95% put back together minus the passenger head and intake manifold. Front Diff is leaking like heck and the bearings or something is worn slap out on it.

The Upol Raptor has a good reputation and price. My buddy did the tub in his Bronco and it came out nice.

Thanks for the liner brands. Not sure what I want to go with yet. Today I realigned the tub with the help of my brothers and dad and then it started raining. The old orbital sander bit the dust yesterday so I gotta get another. Nader warnings keep going off but there is no weather here. Tested the heater core and it didn't leak so I can rest easy there. That's all for now.

I bought some stuff called "Al's Liner".

    http://www.alsliner.com/

I'm just about due to get on it. I'll be spraying the underside and lower part of the firewall with their HLN product. Then I'll spray the interior floor, rear bed and sides up the walls about 4 inches or so with their 'tan colored' liner product. I bought their sprayer as well as their 'spray release' for the sprayer.

I'm guessing I'll have enough liner left over to line over the top of the HLN as recommended, or I may wait and get a black kit to line over it, or I may leave it as is.

I shopped around and found good prices on everything.
