We need pics just in case I get down 5 cities way, then I will know who you are. Also, Fresbone gets over to Pismo a few times a year.

Haha! I’ve got tons of photos. I’ll go re read the posts on adding photos. But it might be a “permissions” thing. When I click on photos I get an error

I was going to drive the JEEP around town to run my errands but when I got in it wouldn’t start, so on the battery charger it went. It’s had a parasitic draw for a while now and if it sits for more then 3 weeks it’s dead, I guess it’s time to figure it out.

Upgraded the shifter boots today. They are made by Stronghold Shiftboots and so far I am really happy with the quality.
I have a T-18 transmission, so I grabbed the boot for that and the twin stick Dana 18 as well. For the transmission boot, I opted to add the insulation and black top stitch.

002 boot.jpg My Stronghold transfercase and overdrive boot after Fireballs earlier recommendation. Reused the plate I had previously made.
Fabbed cover and purchased boot and ring for the SM420 install.

Thanks. The boot gives plenty of room for the large shift tower and the quality is much better than the re-pop rubber.
    The Stronghold boot worked nicely.

Pulled the cab off the Willys pickup today (see the "What did your Jeep help you with" thread) and mounted it firewall down on the lower frame for my engine hoist. This will enable us to do some repairs on the underside of the cab and also the frame. It needs a new hat channel, and this'll make it easy. Plus we plan to sandblast the underside.
