This has come up several times before so will start a thread for it in builds and fabs.

 

awesome. i've been wanting for a long time to mount tools on my rig, and the top of the hood seemed like the most badass place to do that, but i wanted the windshield to still fold down.

 

That is also the reason for the low profile hood air intake.

 

I just read your write up on the winch brake, but would also really enjoy any details or more pics of your hood storage, as that is trick too!!

Cool, which one is the play toy? They both have suspension and tire mods.

i have my cj5 since 5 weeks so i dont have more pic.
1968 f-head 33x9.5-15 and 26000miles

i like my cj6 4.2l with 33x9.5-15 , arb in both axels with 4 disc brakes.
onboard air and space for 8.
its the original paint with 21000miles R)

It's an FSJ:

 

Dude! That is one great looking Jeep! What color is that? And where is that trail - that is awesome scenery!

 

the trail is engineer pass in southwest co. the color is amber fire pearl factory jeep color 2001- 2002

 

guessing 1980 or 1981 with an early grille installed ?

 

I think he said it's an 84. He added the grill and welded in the small rear window for some retro flair. I'd love to have something like it to use as a tow rig.
