The other thing I'll say, in addition to the fact that I am jealous of the rigs you guys have, is what gorgeous scenery! Man, you guys live in some awesome places to be able to wheel in scenery like that.

The west does have some awesome scenery but you can't deny the greatness of all the trails just a few hours away from North Georgia. Here's mine to stay on topic. V6 swap in progress.

1973 SuperJeep. Only work left is bodywork and some kind of locker in the rear axle.

Any more pics of this awesome rig with the hardtop?

I really like this one! How does the hardtop secure to the windshield frame?

    Thanks!

Good looking Jeep you got there, but what is that pipe/tube under the drivers door opening?

Um that would be the step. LOL. Dont ask. That is going away asap. Somebody welded that pipe to the frame, then to the exhaust. It works ok, but not my idea of a quality step.

No idea on the lift. I bought it from a guy that bought it from a Doctor that just stroked checks and nobody knows what was done. I just checked to make sure there wasnt any binding or weird angled steering, and thats about it. It has 35s on it.

As a side note, I looked a tons of Jeeps before I settled on this one. Most were within $1500 of this one and needed a ton of work to make them the way I wanted. This one was allready done up pretty much the way I would have done it, just needs some really minor stuff. The major stuff is done, V8, Dana 44, Dana 30, lockers, perfect height, new tires, nice rims, completely gone through with only some rust in the floorpans, otherwise the tub is super clean. And most of all its the color I wanted.

I was thinking that is what it had to be...but thought surely somebody wouldn't have done that...

If it was/is one bar that goes under the entire Jeep to the other side...it would be like a custom chopper's/bobbers foot pegs. Thats how a lot of them do it on bikes...LOL!

Thanks for sharing more pics of this cool rig! Looks like you wheel it hard, yet the body still looks good...I like!

Sounds like you did well on that purchase. Sure is a good looking Jeep!
