Here's about my last trail on winter. We got open day at out local ski-station (actualy station closed on last sunday). the snow was still pretty hard so we had a good grip to get to the top.

Here a little video of my climb. I'm starting halfway of the ski-run.

Johneyboy, Great picture, nice looking jeep. I have yet to take mine off-road; that gravel parking lot is as close as I have gotten. We have had some warm days, but the nights are still cold. Without a top, I think I will wait for some warmer weather. Any of you Northern Calif guys who know of a good trail for a newbie to off-roading, let me know.

Neat Johnnyboy. I was always temped to see how far up slope you could go on a packed ski slope but anything around here, that would end you up in slammer whether they were open or closed. As close as I got to that was in the early 70's (well before any forest travel plans), I got my 5 on a Forest Service trail packed by snowmobiles and went at least 10 miles on it. A little tricky getting turned around and you certainly didn't want to linger when it started warming up, but I didn't get stuck.

Didn't have any luck viewing the facebook post.

It's the one from Buena Vista.
    Original paint.
Haven't had a chance to drive it much yet.
    Thanks for the comments.
Had good experience with the transport company--J&J Carriers, from New Jersey.

You can tell from the pictures it is completely original. Wiring has not been touched.
Took it for a short spin today. Runs good.

Very nice, the only thing I would to it is two tone the top and leave it as is.

I wouldn;t do a thing to it, its only original once. And that's a darn fine tooting rig.

Nope, that was just some spare parts laying around. Have a Wagoneer Dana 44 I'm going to run. Just got a new TDK CJ8 frame I'm cutting down to fit with a late model front clip and a 4bt to stuff in between the rails. Going to run YJ springs all around with OME CS036R springs on all 4 corners, might have to use the OME D24XL extra leafs on the front to help support the 800 lb 4btaa and planned winch.
