I decided to redo the 3b frame again. Cut off the spring hangers. I might cut the rear portion of the frame off and but I'm undecided.

Sweating profusely and fine tuning ignition timing is not recommended. I was reminded about the H in HEI ignition.....

Found a neat CJ7 yesterday around town. We seemed to be going to the same places! Parked next to each other three times within an hour in three different parking lots.

So 3 different auto parts stores didn't have what either of you needed? :D

Ha! 20 amp breaker, actually. Had some nasty lightning storms lately and it tripped half the box and knocked out the one. Of the three places in town, nobody had what apparently both of us needed.

Found a way to store my Bestop Supertop without it laying all over the place taking up room. I know they sell soft top organizer kits and such but this cost me about $12. I took (4) 2” spring clamps and screwed them to the wall. I then just hung/clipped everything up. Doors and bows sit right under everything. Hard to think in just a couple of months I’ll be putting it back on :(

Started to media blast my frame, then the rains came  Black Diamond medium coal slag. Makes quick work @ 10x better than sanding/wire wheel.

I've been storing my top like this for years. 18 year old top and the windows are still clear!

Spent the weekend getting the tire carrier installed. Also put in a new radio, fixed some light wiring issues, as well as wiring issues with the wiper motor. Next will be new axle seals front and rear.

My replacement rear cross member is coming along. Not as slick as some of the work I see here but I will be the only one who knows it's there.
