I did this test. Looks like VCM.

It runs. I found out it was the fuel pump.

I really like how it is so quiet and no fuel smell from the old leaking tank. :)

Good deal! Was the pump, itself, bad? Feel peppy enough for ya?

I used the old pump, it was running. That's why I didn't suspect it. With the new pump. you can tell it is more powerful.

Yes. It works much better than the Marine motor. I really like how it preforms.

Very nice - makes it worth keeping my eye out for a motor at the right price... but you have to finish your write up so I can steal your work ;)

It's done! It starts! It drives really good. I finally figured out why I couldn't get it started. All as I can say. If you do this conversion, make sure you use a ignition source that is not used by other circuits. I used the wiper circuit. I found my problem while the engine was running, I tried to use the wipers. Fixed it. Now it runs great and starts great. I'm really happy. Would I do it again? No. Glad it is done.

I'm glad you figured it out, i was beginning to wonder if you would use the dualjet and 229 intake.

Excellent! Glad you got 'er dunn. I'll be curious if, in a few months and after a few off road excursions, if you'll still feel as though you would not do it again. Thanks for the write-up and breaking the trail, so to speak, for others.

Very nice. The throttle response, starts every time, no loading up at high altitudes. I also noticed that I could keep it in high gear and not have to shift as much. What a wonderful motor for a Jeep. :driving:

Redid the fuel lines today. I also replaced the fuel filter.

I also started working on new seat belts. I want to replace these with newer style shoulder belts.

I have the newer style seat belts. They came out of my 95' S-10. So far I have the re tractors mounted to the roll bar. I just need to mount the rest of the brackets.
