I have both - plasma gets 90% of the work now. The real things I use the torch for now days is bending, cutting the few items over 1/2", and scarfing. You can scarf with a plasma, it is not as clean and really uses up the consumables.

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

    measure twice, cut once.
    or
cut your way in, weld your way out
    or
do it right the first time

thinking of boxing the frame last so I get all my blind bolts or nuts where I want them.ive been super happy with how my PS setup has worked and going to really spend some time on cutting it out of the old frame .it will save me lots of r&d later
going to the off road show in pomona tomorrow to get front bumper ideas .

Don't know about alum for a front bumper. I was trying to add weight to the front on mine. I kinda like the Poison Spyder one though.
