If I loaded my new avitar right you'll get a glimps of my 67CJ6 finally going to come home from paint. Now all that I need to do is re-assemble it and get it dirty. Well, it won't be 100% finished since I'm going to pull the body off after a couple of runs and paint the frame. I was afraid to do it first incase I needed to change something.

I'll try and keep posting with updates as it finally comes together.

Details? A project I started when my son was 13............He's a Senior now and 17! That is the only reason why my job sucks, not enough time to work on the Jeep (plus I had to wait on quite a few favors).

It was an original Ca Jeep with no rust but was in buckets when I got it. I realized after the fact how many things I was missing and that is why the build went the way it did.

Currie 9" rear with Detiot and 4:56
Currie Dana 30 Front w soft locker and 4:56 and disc
    Hydro Boost brakes
    Dana 300 T/C
    Th350 trans
Mesaged 225 odd fire with HEI

I'll share more pics and stories of why I did what I did when I get it home on Monday.

Plus I need some advice on a few things since I still have a few things that need attention when she gets bolted back together.

Ok time for more pictures finally! Slowly putting it back together and getting it ready for its maiden voyage, then tear it apart again and paint the frame!

The doors I made myself and are aluminum, the floor storage was an idea my son came up with so I grafted in a storage door and made a stainless box in the dead spot under the floor. The rear tailgate latch is made from the tail gate latch on a Kawasaki Mule. They are spring loaded pins that lock in and out. The fule tank is mounted in the rear but I wanted to keep the stock fuel fill so I plumbed the fillerhose from front to back. The fenders are bobed slightly and trimmed around the shock towers (Ford).

I had to rebuild the whole inner fender as the PO carved it up pretty good to clear the headers. The dash is all aluminum and the gage cluster is tilted for better driver viewing. The cage was fabbed to give as much entry room as possible. I still need to make a center console around the shifter, but that'll have to wait.

I'll post a few more pics if I don't max out first.
