I really like the tail gate latchs. Can you post a couple of close ups of that so I can see how you incorporated the Mule latchs? I'm thinking I might try to make some of those some day. Pretty cool and much better than having chains flapping back there.

I also like the idea of using the original fuel hole. I'll have to check to see how it would line up, height wise, on mine.

Reid, that's one of the nicest 6's I've seen. Your going make me look like the ugly step sister if we're ever on the same trail again. R)

Thanks for putting it into perspective. Guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder (or in this case the driver). R)

Hey, the way I look at it the 67 is a step down from the Rubicon I had on John Bull!

I'd just as soon drive it in primer, well at least drive it! I've been working on it so long I got impatient and bought the Rubicon so I wouldn't forget what is is like to Jeep.

No way! I built it to use it, sure I want to keep it nice but using it is what I have planned.

Gonna do the final tune up on the HEI and carb this weekend and it should be road worthy soon.

Got it tuned today! I had a vaccum leak that I had to fix, then set the carb. Then I had to figure out why my oil pressure gauge did not work (wrong sender). Only things left on my list to get it road worthy are:

    1. Fuel fill with return line fitting.
    2. Better throttle return spring!
    3. E-brake cable.
    4. Fix leak in brake line fitting
    5. tie in fuel vents in carb (make taller)
    6. front drive line (biggest headache)
    7. diff vents
    8. install glass in windshield

These last details are going to kill me!
