Now you have to wait another couple weeks and the price has gone up....
Drove it to work today. That’s all. Been driving the 3/4 ton Chevy a fair amount since I installed a new 6.0.
Hillbilly parts washer. Walmart oven spray 2.49, sterilite tote 6.49. Portability, convenience, disposability: Priceless
I think this is cool........
Easy day added a star to the hood & 1/4 panels for s*! *s and grins
Thanks to a member here, I went from stickers:
to the real thing:
Preparation for a trip to the body shop to to repair some rust spots and have new fenders painted. The last paint job was 1996 and it still looks pretty good.
Now if you ever sell it, you can list it as a MILITARY Jeep on Craigslist!
Nothing that wild today. Found a bit banged up but new Tuffy box on facebook for over half off. It's a tight fit on a 71 but it works. Forgot to check clearance on the rear window... but I will burn that bridge down when I get there later.
Spent $18 at the car wash cleaning out a summer's worth of dirt, leaves, mud, pine needles, candy wrappers etc.
Took me 5 min debating if those were 4 x 8 sheets on the roof before I noticed everything spilling from the passenger door and tail. I think you could incorporate a ladder rack on the front bumper as part of a new exocage.
My onboard air uses one of those cube relays, they are supposed to handle 30amps but they don't last long. In 20yrs I have probably gone thru at least a dozen relays. So I installed a relay I bought to repair my 9000lb winch.
I wonder how long it will last?
I think that well pump relay will be around awhile
I understand everything except the last item's ? Why do Ya'all have candy wrappers in Colorado ?
Loaded up for a trip to the body shop.
My new front fenders came today from Quadratec and although they were packaged nicely they were in pretty rough shape. My body shop guy wanted an hour of labor time per fender to straighten them out. I called customer service and they offered me 80 dollars store credit to keep the fenders. The other option was to send them back and have two replacements sent out, they would pay for all shipping. I asked if they could do any better that 80 bucks and they said no. So, these are going back and replacements are being sent out.
I had a big concern about the quality of these aftermarket fenders.
Man, I hope you have better luck with the next set. That’s sad.
Put my BDS lift on! Can’t tell you how it rides yet but I’m liking how it looks.
