Looking at replacing the U joints in my 68 cj5 v6. I see at some auto parts stores that they are the same front and rear and different in other sites. Are the front u joints the same?

May be as simple as different grease fittings, or no fitting, creating separate part numbers.

On a v6 the front and rear ujoints are different. The front ones are a bit smaller. The rear are the standard spicer 1310 (also moog 369), but the front is something else that I don't remember off hand. Will see if I can look up.

Thanks for the help guys. Got the correct ones installed on Wednesday. Now the trouble is getting the yoke off at the front axle. All of my deep sockets are too thick. Anybody know the size so I can go pick up a thin wall socket? Dana 25/27. Checked the service manual but couldn't find a size there.
