    Hey all,

I just purchased the GM style release bearing and want to make sure that was correct before I install it. I emailed Novak on Monday (4 days ago), but haven't received a response yet.

So, basically I have a t90 and figured the GM release bearing was my ticket. However, it appears I have a different release bearing (possibly the jeep/amc bearing with the spring tabs for the fork), so I want to make sure my clutch fork works with the GM version.

Here is a picture of both the fork and the bearing:

I am a little nervous about how much angle thefork will need and if the lip on the bearing sleeve will limit this.

    Any advice would be great!

It does look like the regular throw out bearing that I've used on the T-90 trans/GM bell housing.

I think you'll be alright, the bearing looks like the correct V6/GM type as already mentioned.
    What's adjustable about it ?
Just make sure the fork is on the pivot properly so this doesn't happen.
You can see the contact point where the bearing was back too far and the fork caught under the collar just in front of the rivet for holding the clip to the fork.
First time I pushed the pedal, it broke the collar on the T/O bearing.

The I changed the fork and pivot set-up entirely.

Since the ball pivot is so close to the fork (release bearing), the bearing movement fore/aft is less that 1-3/4" so the actual pivoting being done between the fork and the sleeve on the bearing is very slight.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I guess I need to see research a bit for a picture of where the fork sits in relation to the pins/rivets. I will get a pic in here later today, but the collar is on threads and can be adjusting by tightening or loosening it on the rest of the sleeve. Here is a link of their bearing:

I will say, I am pretty disappointed in their customer service. I emailed them after purchasing the bearing and still no response one week later.

Typically email is the worst way to get customer service from anyone. Call them on the phone. Also, looking at the link you provided, it appears that they have detailed directions on how to set it up.
