    hey all!

i wanted to try to start my wifes 79 JEEP but since the transmission is out and gone (bought it that way) theres no place to mount the starter...

i was going to swap my 76 bell housing (T150) to her engine to have a place to mount the starter, but the bolts are being used to hold MY (76) engine to the engine stand...

does anyone know what the size of the bolts are to mount the T150 to a 360?

    diameter and threads please?

    TIA guys

    :easy rider:

    have a GREAT weekend!!

Guessing it's 7/16" - 14 NC. Could be a size smaller, 3/8" - 16 NC. Your local Ace or True Value should have them - maybe Lowes. HD does not have 7/16" except in grade 8, and very few. You've got the bell and the transmission - measure for the length.
