    Has anyone removed the lock cylinder from their ignition switch? The FS Manual is kinda vague. It also says to remove the harness from the back of the switch, but mine has the wires attached with screws.

    The Manual also says to use a paper clip to press a release button, but I cant find that either. :(

    once the switch is hanging down, you will see a small pin hole which is the (poke hole) for releasing the cylinder from the housing; this holds down the retainer and allows the cylinder to pop out; might be good idea to have your key in it while you tug slightly;
    you really don't need to remove the wires unless replacing the whole thing
