Removing Clutch fork without disconnecting Transmission

    I have read differing arguments with this. I am going to side with those who say it is possible, mainly because I want it to be possible.

    How did you take it out, then put it back in?

    well I know on my jeep you can if you unclip the throw out bearing and then the fork will slide off the pivot but I don't recall if the hole in the bell house has enough room.
    However to put it back on I would want transmission off and such.

    eh - no - not gonna happen - been there - dreamed about it - the two boys fiddled with it for 4 hours - ended up pulling the whole deal just a month ago or so.

    I am not sure if I want to know if it really works... part of me wants it to - the part that already pulled and put things back does not :D

    besides the throwout bearing usually goes out why would you need to pull out the clutch fork without the bearing?
