I hooked up my LED replacement lights on my 70 cj5 and they looked really bright, as i hit the breaks they didnt change at all. What would cause the lights not to change?
    Thank You

The brake function is much brighter than the running light. If the wires are reversed you'd hardly notice the extra illumination when braking.

In your previous posting (70 tail light problem) 07-29-12 page five of this subject matter, you stated your led's worked fine until the jeep was re-painted? Then you stated that the right tail light worked fine but not the left? What has changed? I didn't get any response from you after my posting so I figured you had it fixed!

From your current description it sounds like you have the wiring hooked up wrong as was said, I.e. tail lamp circuit hooked to brake lamp circuit. I'd also double check your grounds. Common issue after a paint job.
