cj5 with GO-FOR-DIGGER

    does anyone have one or have any info about a GO-FOR-DIGGER?
    I just bought one but have relatively no info about it ----manuals ,specs, etc.

    it never fails to amaze me what people have used or converted the early cj's for!. the name universal was perfect.

    Zed I am with you on how we will never know how all these old jeeps been used for.

    I don't have any pictures. but I remember back in the early 60's I went on a school field trip to the Morton salt mine in East Texas They had CJ5 jeeps that were powered by an electric motor and batteries instead of the gas powered F134. These were used in the salt mines to transport miners and tools.

    Have seen the camper pics...and traded email with a guy who owned one, but never seen one in person.

    Saw what I think was one from a distance at the yard site back in th 70's I was working pipelines. Could see it among the welders trucks and campers as we left the yard on the bus and it wasn't there when we came back. Later saw pictues of one in a book so I didn't know if it was a homebuilt or a mirage.
