megasquirt fuel injection

    Looking for some advise on what system to use.
    Just wondering right now what version any of you have run and what you've used for the throttle body setup.
    I have the msd6a installed on the jeep right now with stock distributor. I noticed the v3.0 I think it was has ignition control for the msd. Anyone else try using this and is it really worth it on our jeeps to be able to control the ignition? the msd made a huge improvement over the stock coil so I was happy with that. Is it really worth the extra ~$100 to control ignition?
    I was planning on just running one of the megasquirt I boards, probably the version 2.2.

    pro's cons of running either 2.2 or 3.0???

    I can't answer your question(s) about the Megasquirt system, but there are a few people on this Forum that use it. I'm just bumping this back to the top so maybe you can get an answer.
