I might need to put this in the wanted to buy forum but I have faith in sparky and his super mod ablities if i put this in the wrong place lol. I need a new tail gate for my 62 willy's jeep but all the replacments have jeep or are just plain. Does any one still make the willy's ones and if so who. I think "willy's" small stenciled look just looks better then the big ballon "jeep" on the tail gate. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I think it's Omix Ada, but from experience, you're not getting much for your $104. I ordered one, and it literally weighed in at HALF  the weight of the original, and was MUCH thinner gauge stock. Doesn't even have the solid bar through the top "roll". I was afraid to sit on it, much less drop something heavy on it. :(

I traded it back in for some other items I was needing, and paid a metal bumper friend to get my old one back in shape. He cut out the rust spot, patched, and straightened it back out. Not perfect, but a whole lot better than it was, and considerably stronger than the "replacement". Still gotta prime and paint it.

Just doing my thing to rid the world of crappy replacement parts....
