Can someone with a 74 measure where your stock VIN tag location is? Like how far down and how far left of the seams on the cowl. I need to rivet the tag to my fiberglass tub and I want it to be in the correct location.

    Thanks

From my '74. The blue line is about 1 1/2" straight down from the bracket that holds the radiator rod.

    Thanks for the info.

I see 2 different locations for 74 and 75. Can someone confirm that they are supposed to be different?

Ok that makes sense now. The tub was on a 75 before I bought it and has holes where danc9 shows but I remembered the tag on my original 74 tub being in the location that nwedgar and heavy iron mention. Must be 75's are different. Thanks for the measurements and clarification.
