64 /74 steering

    Howdy all:
    Have an opportunity to pick up a 1964 cj steering column w/ wheel & spartan turn signal. refurbishing a 74,,,, are the steering wheel and spartan box interchangeable?????? and is it the same column..

    The stock 64 column is attached directly to the steering box-totally different from 74. I'm pretty sure the steering wheels will interchange, but the horn button may be different. The turn signal will have a different wiring connector. All this is assuming that both Jeeps are stock.........
