Hey guys this winter I went and gave the old girl a entire engine to drive shaft swap/rebuild... I have a 74 CJ5 with a total rebuilt 4.2 being trailed by a T176 and Dana 300.... Now the problem I'm having is the old T14Dana 20 skid plate doesn't work at all So I need a new one. I'm looking into getting a local shop just make me one with there 100 ton break but I thought I would see if there are any out there just to buy???? Any one got some pics I could use as a reference or a idea of where I could start looikng for a new skid plate???? I've checked the normal Morris, jc, quadretec, but they all are listed for 76 and up so would these work??? Thanks all RJ

I have the same setup, T176/D300 in my 74 and my original crossmember and skid plate work perfectly. Don't see why yours wouldn't work too?

I also have the origional cross member. The problem I'm having is my Dana 300 actually sits about an inch lower than the cross member and the original skid plate angels upward after the cross member... I haven't tried bending it down as I figured that would probably be counter productive when I'm hung up and need to back out...
