I did some horse trading and got a set of Scout axles (D30/D44) and am swapping the discs (4 wheel) over to my 1973 CJ-5. Calipers are mid-80's chevy truck up front, and 85 caddy seville rears. With 4-wheel discs, what would be some good options for a master cylinder?

    I was thinking an 87-95 YJ/Wrangler master cylinder/booster/firewall bracket.

I have read, though, that a booster with this setup might be "too much" brakes, and that site suggested a manual master cylinder.

    Any ideas and opinions?

Try a MC from a '68 Corvette. Last time I looked they were about $20 bucks for a reman from Rock Auto.
