    coupla questions:

    1. my locktab doesn't have a tapped hole in the case to secure the gear shafts, how normal is this?

    2. the novak and advance adapters t18/d300 adapter doesn't cover the gear shafts like the stock d20 adapter does.
can i expect leakage from the reverse and counter gear shafts? (i went with a novak)

fwiw, i understand my t18 to be a 1979 Jeep model

    thanks

talked with the Novak folks today, and they said it shouldn't leak.
the original adapter wasn't there to stop leaks from the gear shafts.

as for the lock tab, ill tap a hole to secure that..
ive seen t18 diagrams showing a bolt holding that secure, not sure why my model doesn't have one (perhaps the adapter kept the shafts from wanting to work themselves out?)

    next up, d300 rebuild & 4:1 kit

I drilled and tapped the lock plate using a 1/4 bolt cut to size.
