need a part #.....

    Did you tell them you wanted it for a D25/27 axle or just an early CJ?

    Lot of them don't know anything besides what they see on the computer screen. And that may not tell them anything.

    And you might look through the lists of vendors at the top of this forum. Might just be one close enough to you to drive to.


    Pardon me, I mean the D44 axle.

    i told them it was for the 44..the napa guy was knowledgable, but couldnt find it..guess i'll just do half tomorrow...

    Can they be made out of heavy gasket material?
    We used to do all our own gaskets that way, long time back.

    They are a rubber seal, not a gasket.

    i've found its easier to find the part on their website then take the info into them, we dont have an autozone but O'reillys is the same game.

    I have also found it easy to get the part number off of RockAuto to take in if I don't have time to order them.
