Will these springs work for me?

    Will springs out of a 74 cj5 work in my 66? I'm looking at a Pro Comp lift that is used, but it was in a 74.

    Probably not without extensive work. Your '66 should have springs that are 1 3/4" while the '74 springs are probably 2" wide.

    Joel, I believe that springs are the same 55-75. The wider springs started in '76.
    This '74 kit should work in the '66.

    IIRC, as long as its 1.75", it will work. I saw an intermediate in the bone yard with 1.75" springs (in good condition too). Gone when I went back
