I thought the Dana 44 axle flange bolts would be easy to find. Wrong. Are these available or do I need to make them?

Just use grade 8 socket head (Allen brand) bolts on mine. I do customize them a bit so there are no threads in the portion where the flange meets the hub, IE, full cross section. To do this, buy them long enough to have the un-threaded portion extend into the hub, thread as needed and cut to length. A GOOD high speed adjustable die will work and use plenty of lube.

Maybe I misunderstood another thread. Is it cool to reuse the flange bolts and stover nuts?

You can reuse the bolts in good shape. Not a bad idea to replace the nuts
